Clinical supervision in social work is a professional relationship in which a more experienced social worker (the supervisor) provides guidance, support, and evaluation to a less experienced social worker (the supervisee) to ensure the quality and effectiveness of their practice. This relationship is crucial for both the professional development of the supervisee and the protection of clients.
Experienced, informed clinical supervision for students and current practicing clinicians. Qualified under the OCSWSSW, CPRO and the Association of Psychological Therapies our Lead Therapist is able to provide individual and group supervision and consultation. Thoughtful and supportive collaboration is integral to the profession, and a way to ensure best practice for all clinicians. This is particularly true with respect to doubts or uncertainties, which may arise during our professional work, and in respect to counter transference and difficult clients and/or complex issues.
