  • Child & Youth Counselling

    Therapists: Patricia, Alison & Farhana

Child therapy is similar to counselling for adults - it offers a safe space and listening ear, while providing tools and strategies to change thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

As a parent, you want nothing but the best for your child, and sometimes there is a situation that you simply can’t help them with - especially when you are as emotionally invested in the situation.

Some of the most common issues that we can help with are grief and the death of a loved one, pet, home etc.; self esteem and building confidence & communication; anxiety, depression & eating disorders; witnessing or experiencing a trauma. We use a variety of ways to connect with your child or teen - including art, talk, play and writing.

  • Reiki

    Myra

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing . It is a hands on healing technique that acts on the unseen life force energy that flows through us all. If the life force energy becomes blocked or depressed, we are more likely to become stressed or sick. A balanced life force energy leads to health, happiness and feeling balanced in all aspects of life.

The knowledge of an invisible energy that flows through all living things has been part of the wisdom of many cultures for thousands of years. The existence of Life Force Energy has even been documented by scientific experiments. Medical doctors are now looking at the role Reiki plays in the functioning of the immune system and the healing process.
