Starting therapy can bring up a lot.
Here are a few things to know.
Begin with a free 20-minute consultation. Call or email the Spark team, who can answer questions, help you find a therapist, and discuss scheduling. You don’t need to know which approach you want before reaching out.
No referral is necessary. You can contact Spark directly. The practice also accepts referrals from professionals such as family doctors and WSIB coordinators.
Spark offers online counselling for clients across Ontario, along with in-person appointments in Hanover. Formats vary by service and therapist; the team can help you find an option that fits.
Coverage depends on your benefit plan and your clinician’s professional designation. Check with your insurer before booking, and ask the team which practitioner credentials and receipt details your plan requires.
That’s okay. The intake team can talk through what you are looking for and help you understand your options. A consultation gives you a chance to ask questions and decide whether the fit feels right.
That’s something we can figure out together. Begin with a free, 20-minute conversation.
