Myra Summers

A little about Myra.

Myra is a graduate of Mohawk College’s Child and Youth program and a Level II Reiki practitioner. She has spent many years supporting people in children’s mental health, youth justice, group home, court, and military-family settings.

Her experience includes supporting people with trauma, anxiety, grief, depression, and family transitions. She has worked closely with youth and parents on behaviour, development, separation, and divorce.

Myra brings warmth, humour, and an interest in the different experiences that shape wellbeing. Mindfulness and spirituality are part of her approach when they are a fit for the person she is supporting.

She also offers Reiki as a complementary wellness service focused on relaxation. Reiki appointments are separate from psychotherapy and medical treatment.
